Users of MyLand.Vic accounts

The Land Channel site transition to new technology is underway and as a result of this change, the MyLandVic accounts credit process will not be supported after 27th December 2018.
Users will not be able to Create New Accounts or Credit accounts with funds.
Users who currently have Credits in their MyLandVic accounts, are urged to please use up the Credits.
PLEASE NOTE that the Credit Card payment option will NOT be affected and you will still be able to access and purchase the paid content on a case by case basis using your Credit card.

Land Vic Accounts are designed for you to:

  • review old orders - previous purchases are stored, and can be retrieved again
  • have a superuser and many subusers
  • enter credit card details once instead of each time you make a purchase

Note:  you must keep your account in credit - we cannot send you a bill at the end of each month.

You can log in to your account from the home page, or from anywhere within the Products and Services area.

You can log in before making a purchase, or browse first and then log in when you are ready to buy.

Your Land Vic account cannot be used for the Title, Property Certificates & Crown Land Status service. These two services are separate systems, and use different passwords and payment.

Browser Security (SSL)

Your browser must be configured for secure transactions to create and use your My Land.Vic Account.
If the account pages do not load in your browser, please check your browser's SSL settings.

In Internet Explorer -
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and ensure SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are ticked.

In Firefox -
Click the Tools menu, and then click Options.
On the Advanced tab, ensure SSL 3.0 is ticked.

Create an Account

To create a new account, simply choose "Create Account" from the menu on the left hand side and fill in the registration form.

The creator of the account is known as the superuser. The superuser can add subusers to the account.

Further Hints

  • Account Name is the name of the account (eg company name). Username is what the user will log in as. (eg person)
  • Only use letters and numbers. Do not use hyphens, apostrophes, & characters, underscores, brackets, etc.
  • Usernames are unique across the system. eg there can only be one "John".
  • Passwords must be at least 6 characters long
  • Password cannot be the same as Username.

Account Home

Change Details

You can change details of your account - eg your phone number may have changed.
You will be given a form pre-filled with your account details. Make any changes necessary, then confirm.

  • You cannot change the Account Name
  • To change your password, select Change Password for the menu on the left hand side.

Make a Payment

Type in the amount you wish to pay. You are then taken to the DPI/DSE payment gateway (on a secure server).

  • You can use MasterCard or Visa

Change Password

Simply type your old password and your new password, then save changes.

Further Hints

  • Changing your password affects one user only, not everyone who uses this account.
Previous Orders screen

Previous Orders

Select the Order Number from the drop-down list to get a receipt or to view a previous order.

  • You can only view your own orders, not the orders of other users of the same account

Add New User

To add a new user to your account, type in the username and details of the new user and save changes. This user can now use the account to make purchases, change their own password, make payments and view their own orders.

  • Only the account superuser has access to this function.
